FAQ
Treatment
What is B2P Body Therapy?
At Balance2Perform we focus on feeling and treating the whole person and creating a life in balance between body and mind. Therefore the connections between body parts, organs and mind play a central role in our method.
B2P targets both physical and psychological pain and tension. For this reason, you will find that our therapists use both grip and conversation techniques to identify and address your problems.
Our body therapy is not only used to treat injuries, but also prevents them by developing and strengthening the healthy body, the healthy mind and the connection between them. We place great emphasis on the psychological aspects of physical injuries and symptoms, and our holistic approach means we take the broadest possible approach to your health and well-being.
B2P therapy reduces tension but also strengthens your circulation. You can expect a good effect from treatment if, for example, you are suffering from inflammation or discomfort due to swollen joints. But back pain, anxiety, stress, strain injuries and depression can also be effectively treated with B2P body therapy.
What happens during a treatment?
A B2P session begins with the therapist identifying how you need to be treated to experience a recovery or strengthening of body and mind. The therapist starts by asking how you are feeling and feels with their hands and intuition. The connections between body parts, organs and mind play a central role in B2P body therapy, so you may find that the therapist focuses on - and asks about - several different places on your body during each treatment.
The right pressure on your stomach, for example, can relieve anxiety, while treating one side of your back can relieve pain on the other. Such connections exist across our bodies and psyches. Our therapists know the connections - and use their knowledge to relax your body and create an energetic flow through it in the places where you need it.
What typically happens after a treatment?
After a treatment, you will often feel exhausted because you have got rid of negative energies and released tensions that have been causing you problems. However, fatigue can also be caused by emotional reactions to the treatment. This is perfectly normal.
A single treatment can make a significant difference. But often you will experience greater benefits over several treatments, both physically and emotionally.
